Welcome to the page of Liên Đoàn Rạng Đông, or Sunrise Scouting Group. We are a Vietnamese American Scouting Troop based out of the Silicon Valley Bay Area in California. Our family consists of Boy Scout Troop 1111, Girl Scout Troop 60703, and Cub Scout Troop 1111. Our meetings are at Pinewood Park in Milpitas, California every Sunday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Cub Scouting is part of the Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), available to boys and girls from kindergarten through fifth grade, or 5 to 10 years of age and their families. Cub Scouting is part of the worldwide Scouting movement and aims to promote character development, citizenship training, personal fitness, and leadership.
Girl Scouts of the United States of America (GSUSA) is a youth organization for girls. Girl Scouts prepares girls to empower themselves and promotes compassion, courage, confidence, character, leadership, entrepreneurship, and active citizenship through activities involving camping, community service, learning first aid, and earning badges by acquiring practical skills.
Scouts BSA (formerly known as Boy Scouts) is the flagship membership level of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) for boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 17. It provides youth training in character, citizenship, and mental and personal fitness. Scouts are expected to develop personal religious values, learn the principles of American heritage and government, and acquire skills to become successful adults.
